User Provisioning

HGE Uslimato distinguishes between two types of users:

Local Users (Asset-only)

Local users have no HGE ID and cannot sign in. They serve exclusively for asset assignment — e.g., to assign devices to a person without giving them a login.

Create under Settings > Users > New User > Local only
No login, no email verification
Can be promoted to HGE ID users at any time

HGE ID Users

HGE ID users receive a full login with email verification. They can sign in to the application and have role-based permissions.

Create under Settings > Users > New User > HGE ID
The person receives a verification email
14-day grace period for verification

Invite Existing HGE ID

If a user already has an HGE ID in another tenant, you can invite them to your tenant:

Settings > Users > Invite Existing HGE ID
Enter email address and assign groups
The person receives an invitation email (double opt-in)
After acceptance, the user is automatically added to the tenant

Grant / Revoke License

Grant HGE ID: A local user is promoted to an HGE ID user
Revoke HGE ID: An HGE ID user is demoted to a local user

The last admin user of a tenant cannot be demoted.

Plan Quota

The number of HGE ID users is limited by the active billing plan. Local users (asset-only) do not count against the quota.
