Billing & Subscription

Overview

Uslimato offers multiple plans with different feature sets and limits. Billing is handled through Stripe.

Billing Tab

The Billing tab is located under Settings → Billing. It shows:

  • Current plan: Name, monthly cost
  • Subscription status: Active, cancelled, past due
  • Next billing: Date of the next payment
  • Manage subscription: Opens the Stripe Customer Portal

Stripe Customer Portal

The "Manage subscription" button opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can:

  • Update payment method
  • Download invoices
  • Change plan
  • Cancel subscription

Subscription Lifecycle

Subscriptions follow an automated lifecycle:

  1. Active — Subscription is current, payments are succeeding
  2. Past due — A payment has failed; Stripe retries automatically. After 3 consecutive failures, a grace period begins
  3. Grace period (60 days) — Full access is maintained, but a warning is shown. You can resolve the issue via the Stripe Customer Portal
  4. Scheduled for deletion (90 days after cancellation) — If no payment succeeds, the tenant data is scheduled for permanent deletion
  5. Deleted — Tenant data is permanently removed

Cancellation

When you cancel your subscription:

  • Access continues until the end of the current billing period
  • A 60-day grace period follows where you can reactivate
  • After 90 days from cancellation, your data is permanently deleted

Reactivation

During the grace period, you can reactivate your subscription from Settings → Billing. A successful payment automatically restores full access.

Payment Failures

If a payment fails:

  • You will receive an email notification from Stripe
  • Stripe automatically retries the payment over the next few days
  • After 3 consecutive failures, a grace period is started
  • Resolve payment issues at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal

Test and Demo Tenants

Tenants with type "Testing", "Demo", or "Internal" do not require a Stripe subscription. Billing is not displayed for these types.
