Modules & add-ons
Uslimato is modular. One core module is always active; further modules and add-ons can be switched on per tenant. In module management you see what is available, active or still planned.
#Core module: asset management
Asset management is the core module and always active – devices, software licenses and assignments. Everything else builds on top of it.
#Understanding module status
Every module carries a clear status so admins know where they stand:
| Status | Meaning | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| Active | Enabled and usable for your tenant | Get started right away |
| Not licensed | Available, but not booked for your plan | Upgrade the plan |
| Planned | In development, not yet available | Wait for a release |

#Managing modules
Under Settings › Module management you get an overview of all modules and add-ons. The core module is locked ("core module – always active"); optional modules can be activated as long as they are licensed for the plan.
#Activating a module
- Open Settings › Module management
- Pick the module from the list
- Click Activate – a greyed-out entry means your plan lacks the license
- Its menu entries appear immediately for every role that is permitted to see them
