Audit log

The audit log records every change automatically: who, what, when. GDPR-compliant and audit-proof – the basis for every audit.

An asset's audit log – every change with timestamp, actor, action and affected fields.
An asset's audit log – every change with timestamp, actor, action and affected fields.

#What gets logged

Creations, updates and deletions on assets, users and processes are captured with timestamp, action and the triggering user.

#The view

The audit log shows four core columns:

  • When – timestamp of the change, e.g. 2026-04-26, 01:12
  • Actor – who triggered the change
  • Actioncreate, update or delete
  • Changes – which fields were affected, e.g. assigned_to or name, asset_tag

#Access

The full audit log is reserved for administrators. At the user and asset level there are context-specific excerpts.

Note
If the audit log can't load once, the app shows a clear notice instead of an empty list.
